Bad, Bad Blogger

I guess most of the avid bloggers out there would call me a bad blogger and they are right! I started this blog for my company, The Party Starts Here.com, with the best of intentions. I'm sure some of you business owners and moms can relate to the old saying, So much to do, so little time! The marketing world has gone crazy with social marketing. Facebook, blogs and Twitter are the rage. We now have a Facebook page, a Twitter Page and this blog. I just realized that I'm not super woman!!(took me long enough) With that in mind, I am going to be getting the help of my sister. She has been an event and wedding planner for many years and has a great gift for writing. She'll be perfect.
We are starting to have alot of exciting things happening with the company. We are actually being feature on other blogs. Because of this, we are now actually getting followers. When you don't have many followers, it sometimes feels like your talking to yourself. So to all of the people who are kindly signing up to follow our blog, thank you for you patience and I promise it will only get better!!!!

The Gift of Time for New Moms

A very dear friend just had a baby. I myself have 5 kids, but my baby is now learning to drive! I guess time is kind and helps us forget how hectic and crazy our lives are at that time. As a gift to new moms, we are now offering free assembly if needed on all birth announcements. We realize that you are actually thrilled some days if you get to brush your teeth or take a shower! We applaud you in actually finding the time, (probably 3 am!) to turn on a computer, do a search for birth announcements, find one you like, enter the text correctly and hit send. If putting together your announcements helps you in any way, we are glad to do it. Congratulations and just know it gets easier, (until they are teenagers!)

I have 2 sons that were born in April and May. These months can be tricky to plan an outside birthday party. Even in Southern California it can be a gamble to see if mother nature is going to cooperate. One of our customers had a cute way of adding this uncertainty to her invitation.

We thought "Come and join us for a day of live music, swimming and fun. But do us a favor and PRAY FOR SUN!" was pretty clever. To check out some more really cute summer invitations click here.
